Getting a cat castrated

Time has come for our moggy to be de-balled !!!

Does anyone know of the approx price it would cost at a vets.....or would it be better to use a feather and two bricks ;o).

The two bricks I understand - but what do you do with the feather?

I'm sorry but I don't know cost of castration - Frankie came to me already de-balled/de-nutted.

It should cost about �40 for castration..... I think you can probably get financial assistance from the RSPCA if you are on low income or benefits.

my vet charged �35 for neutering of a male. Spaying of a female costs about �45 as the operation is longer and more involved.

Go for the vet option! I respect you for knowing how important it is getting your male cat neutered.

I can't quote a price for you, but close to where I live, we have a vet that specialises in spaying and neutering, i.e., not offering a full range of services, therefore keeping the price down. If you make a few enquiries, you may find a vet in your area that does the same
