Am thinking of doing this for my 30th in November as am animal mad and think this would be an amazing experience.

Has anyone been on one or know someone who has and can give any suggestions as to where to go?

Am in Manchester but willing to travel.

I had a shadow a zoo keeper day for my birthday a few years ago as have always loved animals!
It was such a fantastic day, really really loved it!
I went to Paradise Animal Park (think thats what its called!) in Broxbourne :)

Have you asked at Chester Zoo? I am sure they do this, and it is on your doorstep.

Google zookeeper for the day. I just tried it and found quite a few.

Dalton Zoo (South Lakes Wild Animal Park I think) does it, and it is in South Cumbria so only an hour and half from you, really.
The money you pay (and it is quite a lot!) apparently goes to a conservation project that the Zoo owner runs.

Chester would be AMAZING!
