I definitly think that they can, because as kids get older, we as adults tell them that there is no such thing. But babies don't know that and can see alot of things that we can't
my friend was telling me that her 13 mth old boy was in his high chair the other day his mum was feeding him and he kept waving and smiling as if some one was there, his mum looked round but no one was there. so who knows
Babies do not yet know how to assemble their thoughts. They can seem to see things that are not there because they are coming to a conclusion while their eyes are pointed in a particular direction, though it is not their eyes which are the cause of their thought, necessarily.
I defently think they can. I took my daughter to my husbands great grandmothers grave. We got out of the car and she started screaming at the top of her lungs and pointing into the graveyard. it was kinda dark out so we left. When we got home I asked her what she saw. She told me a boy. I asked her what the boy looked like and she told me he was cold. So this changed everything I defently think they can see ghosts.
I believe they can. Me and my friend were sleeping when her little sister Maggie (age 3) woke us up laughing and talking. She was saying "goodbye" and "comeback soon" and waving... no one was there. She said it was her friend lucy, and when we asked her what lucy looks like. She pulled down her eyes to make them look droopy as in the preview of "The Messenger" the real question is are these ghosts going to cause harm to our infants?
