Do foxes attack cats? I've seen one lately a BIG one running along on tip toe in the middle of the night right in the middle of the road.

I hate the foxes - use my lawn as a toilet (they aren't tidy like cats), so you don't want them around where kids play; plus they pulled a drainpipe off my house to get at the water. They can certainly jump and climb like cats, though perhaps not so high up in trees.
Hi gelda! Trying to think back all those years ......... little fox stayed with us sometime, mum and dad had quite a big garden and (lol) kept chickens!!!!
Foxy would not go near them tho - thank goodness!!!
He stayed with us for quite some time and then, when mum, dad, myself and family moved from the area, foxy was adopted by good friends who owned a small holding. He was no threat to any of the livestock and lived on happily!
I suppose because he was adopted so young, he had the traits of a dog/cat and loved human company!!!

Thinking about him again, I guess he didn't realise he was a fox! It would have been impossible to release him because he would not have survived. It's a lot different now with all the wildlife centres to help and give advice.
He seemed quite content and happy.
He was another colourful and much loved character in a chapter of my life!!:o)
