Hi all, thank you for still posting, so good to read all the stories, hope we can keep it going, you are so right alfie, we are very lucky to live in the beautiful British isles, every part has its attractions, Even the cities, I am from London, moved to wales 28 years ago and love it, I treat it as if I am on holiday, so every day when i go to work, I am going to work so that I can afford to stay on holiday, therefore my life is a constant holiday, no stress or worries, but when I was in London, I would sit in Holland park, kensington gardens or Hampton court palace, at the back of the palace is a strech of water called " Longwater" it is so peaceful and the wildlife is amazing, deer abound and are so restful to watch,
Here in North Wales it is cold today, the Martins are very busy still, lots of noise coming from outside, the nesta are now ready for occupation, so very soon, the little beaks will appear from the nesta, and then mum and dad will really work hard, today the only things I have seen are a Heron who landed in the field, had a quick look round and took aff again like a harrier jump jet, buzzards are still circling, with the crows hassling them, the buzzards seem very happy and relaxed and take no notice, woodpecker has been trying to get the hang of the new nut feeder we put up, he seems to stop for about 20 seconds then off again, he hasn't got the hang of the new one yet, hope he does though, cos he is a lovely thing to see, A friend said he had seen a badger at the top of the forest near our cottage, I am so excited about that, hope he ias in residence somewhere near, he will be really safe there as nobody but us goes there. will look out for him,
Thanks again everyone, take care all, speak soon, Ray xx
