thanks everyone that gave me ideas for our camping trip, we had a great time and the kids enjoyed it even though it rained all day sunday and monday and winds were really bad.
annie you were right about kids running in other peoples tents. luckily the tent next to us were nice people and found it funny.
only prob we had was entertaining the kids during the bad weather. we are going again in june so want to be more prepared this time. any one any ideas for indoor entertainment, rememberin we are in a tent so no ball games or anything lol.
also anyone any more ideas on food for the kids while we are there as there is only so many tins of beans a kid can eat?
hope everyone else had a nice bank holiday

dominoes - we had a set of farm ones and they were really cheap - you match the animals instead of the numbers.
Snap
Pasta and rice dishes - my kids love Lloyd grossmans tomato and basil pasta sauce and it is great added to rice as well - you can through in some sausages and peas.
Take one frozen meal with you as well as it will have defrosted in time to heat up for the second camp day.
Scrambled eggs
Soup and rolls
Just try to think of anything that you can put into one pot.
a quick macaroni cheese:
250g of macaroni
250 g of grated cheese (mature cheddar or red leister)
250 ml of evaporated milk
2 eggs
salt and pepper.
Cook macaroni, mix everything else together and pour on top of the drained and cooked macaroni - then cook together for about 10 mins until it is bubbling.
