the poor elephants must have been terrified.
If they hadn't been rescued it would have messed up the water supply LOL

Saw this on Sky news this morning. Funny the way they all legged it when the first one got free. I gathered the 2nd one was it's baby, as it seemed to cling for protection once it too escaped. Good to see something happy on the news 4 a change!

So nice to see animals being helped by people in this way and to hear the cheers from the people when they were rescued. Confirms my belief that most people in this world are kind and good and have compassion. Unfortunately, it's the others that get most publicity.

Welshlibranr - No rain here yet on the North Norfolk Coast!

I tell a lie, I just looked out of the window and we have some spots of rain just starting to fall!!

Lottie - that fairly made my day - what a wonderful wee film - the elephants, the people - everything. Human nature at its best. Have watched it again and again - absolutely uplifting!!!

We have had rain, rain and more rain here all day - its just easing off now - ground is saturated, little birdies are drenched and pup is soaked with very very muddy paws - after doing the rounds in the garden!!! Ho hum - he is now curled up in wee ball sending up zzzz's oblivious to paw prints all over the place!!! Oh well - he's happy - guess i am too!!!xx:o)
