As they say, if every puppy buyer saw the puppy with its mother in the home in which it was bred, this practice would stop overnight.
Please don't buy from a puppy farmer.

But if the dealers and puppy farmers in this country did not have customers for them they would not have an outlet. Pet shops and puppy farms often buy whole litters from Ireland,
I know someone who worked at an airport and there was a crate containing fifteen Westie pups addressed to a well known puppy farmer in Norfolk. How on earth he knew which puppy was which or from which litter who can tell (that was before microchipping was commonplace). Breeders are not 'experts' just because they breed lots of dogs or have lots of different breeds. Choose a reputable breeder recommended by a breed club.
