i have just got a rescue dog who is a terrier of two years,but she is eating her poo sometimes. how can i stop this

Basically though the best way to prevent this is to get to it before she does and clear it away.
Some dogs will stop if you feed them pineapple chunks with their food, so it may be worth a try.

As Kita says the best way is remove her faeces before she gets a chance, as she is a rescue dog, she may have been deprived of food in the past and will grow out of it.
Pineapple with each meal mostly worked for my Neapolitan Mastiff. I have a very large garden and I couldn't always get to the poo quickly enough.
