I have old-fashioned metal window locks and would like some spare keys. Trouble is no one makes them anymore. They are about 4 inches long with a one eighth of an inch hole in the end that locks the window. The end I hold is thicker than the stem. Has anyone any ideas please?

Is the tip very slightly oval or does it have a notch cut out?
Do you mean a lock on a metal window? Steel or aluminium? Does the lock just stop you turning the handle? Or is it entirely seperate?
Do you pivot part of the lock away or slide it?
How far do you turn the key to open the window?
Do you have to manually lock it or does it automatically engage when you close the window?
Normally spring time when these requests come in.
