how many injections does a puppy need = mine has already had two - now vet says i need another two

It's usual to have two injections, with a couple of weks between them, and then a booster every year after that. They're usually given from about 8 weeks old, but can sometimes be given at 6 weeks, if there's a higher risk of the animal picking up a disease.
I should ask your vet exactly why he wishes to administer a further two injections, and find out what they're for.

Ditto above, one at around 10 weeks, another at 12 weeks, then annually thereafter. Although my vet likes to give a parvo booster at 5 months, not that I took him up on the offer with my last puppy. I also have kennel cough vaccine, but that is something they can do at the same time and the vaccine is put directly into the dogs nostrils.
