Whats he playing at!!!
33 Answers
Just getting back with a boyfriend that i think fondly of, he has been overseas for a few weeks and got back into the uk yesterday morning, when i got a txt to say he had arrived, sent a txt later to say hope that he was ok and and later when i thought he would be back at home, no reply on both assumed he was sleeping, today latterly i txt him to get quite a haughty reply, i realise that his work was getting to him, i dont know where i stand now feel a fool for caring and told him so,he said he had 4 weeks work to catch up on, but surely a wee acknowledgement isnt much to ask for, and what does he want from me,i really care about him but was really ****** off!!!

That's not a great basis for a relationship unless you're exceptionally long-suffering - and if you didn't mind that sort of behaviour, you wouldn't have posted here. He may well have work to do, it's true, but most people would find time for a friendly text. If he doesn't, and if you didn't like it, then you should be trying elsewhere.
And if you've been with him before, try reminding yourself why you split.

I would agree with this:- sounds like you think more fondly of him than he thinks of you. That's not a great basis for a relationship unless you're exceptionally long-suffering - and if you didn't mind that sort of behaviour, you wouldn't have posted here.

it isn't really a question of who caused it any more, but how compatible you are. Some couples get on fine with emotional outbursts, some don't. He didn't like yours. You don't like his current offhand behaviour. It doesn't honestly sound as if you're made for each other.
But there's nothing to do now but be patient. Don't harass him. You've let him know you're still interested. Now it's up to him. But remember - you've tried each other out before. If he's decided once is enough, there's really not much more you can do about it.
(But you're never a fool for caring.)
