of there own bottom burps? mine sometimes leaves the room just after and sometimes if laid down she just stays but cant work out weather she just been lazy.

Dogs have a very good memory, and if you or anyone else, have ever said, Phew, what's that smell, aiming the remark at the dog, she/or he will pick up from the voice, that it has done something wrong, and leave the room. If the dog is laying down, and no one comments, it probably assumes it's ok to stay. Have you thought of changing the brand of dog food, as some brands are notorious for producing very strong smelling odours. It may be worth trying a couple of different brands to see if there's any improvement. Good Luck.
