World's biggest is the Goliath Tarantula. UK biggest is the Raft Spider, not counting pet tarantulas, and this one in Liverpool!!

I am a wee bit of a weakling when it comes to spiders - would never kill one - can just about cope with money spiders and harvesters!!!!

We have great grandson of boris in the garage!!!! Fairly large but we have respect for each other!!!! When we meet, we both scuttle away in opposite directions Lol!!!! Wish i wasnt such a wimp!!!!!!!
