Today I found this question posted by you nearly four years ago!
http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Animals-and-Nat ure/Question102477.html Hey lass, sorry for not replying, I didn't see it at the time. Anyhoo, back to the question ....
I can't remember what we were talking about, but I guess it was about the wee puss' fits. I took her to the vet and he advised to leave it to nature, as medicating her would have been difficult. She then got a big lump on her back. I took her to the vet again and it turned out to be a huge ball of hair. The vet shaved it off then released her.
She seemed quite happy, living in her little cat-house in my garden (we converted our old coal shed into a shelter for her) and she grew to accept me, but was always afraid of my OH.
Then just before Christmas the following year, she started to go downhill. She stopped eating and her fits got worse. By Christmas Eve she couldn't stand up and had stopped eating. I knew her time had come. I took her to the vet and he said that she was dying, wouldn't live more than a day or two. So I had her put to sleep.
She really was a remarkable puss and I still miss her very much. (RIP puss-puss).
Thank you for asking about her, and I am sorry it has taken almost 4 years for a reply!!!!!
