Cat + Electric Blanket = Bad Idea???

Just bought a new electric blanket and, as HC sleeps on the bed with me, is there any danger involved?

He's never ever peed on the bed, or anywhere other than his tray or outside but just checking out of caution if anyone else has had a problem...apart from the fact he will probably never get him off my bed after this :)

Cats may paw the blankets and break or tear the wires and give themselves - and you - an electric shock.
