Just had a unknown number call my phone.
Picked it up to a guy asking if I had a black and white cat. Heart jumped in my throat in case he'd been hurt or something.
But no, he is currently sat in said man's flat drinking single cream!!!
Cats lol :)

It turned out that Barry, a stray they had taken in years earlier, was actually Fluffets and was owned by the neighbours originally. He spends the days as Fluffets at no.22 (or whatever it is) and the nights as Barry at no.15!

Our first dog was a bull-mastiff/GSD and one day he got out of the garden and went walkabout. My mum got a phone call later that morning to say that Hutchie was in a man's kitchen having a snack.
Not sure how but he waltzed into the man's house and straight into the kitchen when the poor guy was having his breakfast. No doubt our wee angel went into begging mode and snaffled most of the breakfast.
I loved that dog and miss him even 20 years later.

We moved into our house in September and seem to have found a friend in the shape of a very large black cat. Frightened the flamin' life out of me the first time, sat on the kitchen windowsill in the dark staring in at me when I was washing up, huge glowing green eyes looking at me. He just sort of wanders around now, stays as long as he wants and pootles off again. We're not allowed pets officially but he says he can't read the tenancy agreement.
