my dog smells

over the last couple of days my dog has begun to smell a bit musky. she is a 2 yr old mini dachsie and she was spayed around 1 and a half years ago. i could understand it if she wasnt spayed....anyone know what causes it?

my dog used to smell too..............but then we removed his nose and now he smells no more...........

Hello hollie , is she eating ok and looking her fit self ? Do you bath her at all ? Has she perhaps been picking up that odour in winter grasses , shrubbery , or perhaps rolling . ?

no no...she is her normal, fit happy self...no rolling etc

As Bigmamma says, the smell could be coming from your dog rolling in something. Then again, if it continues, i'd let the vet take a look. Sometimes smells can come from the anal glands, and this needs checking over.

My neighbours dog jumps over the fence and eats my dogs sh!t

At first I thought she was chewing one of his toys but when I went out and saw her eating his sh!t I nearly puked!!
