Felix Marinades
22 Answers
One of you sick humans told my human that Felix Marinades were great (and half price in Tesco). Well human bought a box and they were naff. We had to refuse three (or was it four) meals in a row.
Princess Merlin and I are actually looking forward to going to cat hotel/prison tomorrow - we might get better food.
Frankie ... the starving cat.

Humans came back from a holiday recently and caught me red handed with a tasty little field mouse in my mouth.... jees! I tried to look all innocent and dropped it then bounded over to show how pleased I was to see them.. which I think distracted them enough!
Why dont those humans make mouse flavoured cat food eh! Now that I would like!! YUM YUM

oh I dont eat those kind of mice!!! Yuck... hurt my teeth too!
No - i prefer the soft fluffy kind with the tail and brown eyes... sometimes if I feel in a sharing mood I just eat the head and leave the body for my humans... but for some reason they are never very hungry!!!
There's just no understanding them!!!

Cats!! Picky little blighters. My cat (Frank actually) will eat tuna from a pouch but give him fresh tuna (a treat I paid the earth for) and he looks at it as though I am trying to poison him. He loves fresh roast chicken, offer him the pouch variety and he skirts round it as though it might jump up and peck him. I could have kept the whole of Africa alive on the food I have thrown away because he won't touch it. The worst is that he will eat a whole dish of something one day but look as though he wouldn't sit in it the next time I offer it to him. As I say, picky little blighters cats.
Hello Frankiecat, Flossie here.
Our slave was suckered into buying some of that stuff from Tesco too and neither Daisie or I will touch it - gross! I will only eat Waitrose terrine in foils at the moment and that means a special journey for her. She moans but I am such a thin old thing that she feels sorry for me and tries to tempt me with all sorts (I am also partial to smoked mackerel at present so she buys that for me too) :-)

My slave says that I have a fat tummy but this isn't so. I am a young cat of only three years and am at the prime of my life.
It confuses her - deciding what food we will be eating at our next meal, will we be refusing the felix in jelly again (we have never refused this one before) or will be willing to accept the felix in gravy (it isn't very nice but is edible). Slave says that all the boxes look the same and she never knows what to get us.
But even if she gets the right stuff we reject that if it suits us.
Got to show them who's boss...........

Heathcliffe here!
I love to play the food game with my slave, keeps her on her toes.
I've decided I don't like Felix pate things but will eat the Whiskers pouches for now, just not the poultry ones.
Slave did treat me to a bit of tinned salmon when she had some the other night though so she is in my good books at the moment.

I put a pack of the Marinades down for my cats, they lick the bowls clean, and meaow for more!!!
They even like the tuna one's, but they tend to reject tuna sachets of every other brand (apart from Tesco own), so they must be good!
I've enevr seen them go so crazy for food apart from tuna from a tin (mind boggles)

Frankiecat is locked up and ready to be picked up from the lady from the cattery. They are screaming - I'll give them something to scream about!
There has to be a business venture in this - sharing around unwanted food from one cat to another.
I am supposed to be going away tomorrow but have the plague - feeling sorry for myself and the cats are still howling. It has been all of 30 seconds of captivity.

Wolf.. my secretary and I usually share *cat fud* pouches.. lol.. her mistress is as fussy as my mistresses are.. so we have decided to wander around the shops, buying whatever we can afford and then sharing it out between the three girls (her mistress and my two mistresses)...... Lidl pouches are fabby this week.. Whiskas was ok last week.. Felix was ok the week before...
We reckon that our mistresses just like a bit of variety...
