Good luck - a quick phone call won't cost anything & hopefully will put your mind at rest. It may be nothing, but I'd be inclined to check it out. Love, K x
just called, he said because she is breathing normaly (not with an open mouth or quikely), and she is well otherwise, its probably from where the tube has been put down her throat. Ah, i can relax now :-)
Hope all goes well with your dog. She'll probably feel much better tomorrow. Lots of cuddles and I'm sure she'll be fine, now that you have been reassured by the vet.
Trying to reassure here. When Honey had her op about 10 days ago now, she had a cough for a few days, due to the tube she'd had in her throat .When she came home she slept for a long time each day and would only eat bits and bobs. She had her first real meal yesterday, which was good .During her convalescence she would drink an awful lot.
She is much better now so hopes this helps.
GOOD LUCK.
Hello missrandom , nice to see you honey , hope your dog is ok and it's recovery goes well . Do you have an Elizabethan collar for her , I'm asking because my puppy is due to be spayed and I wondered . When my labrador was spayed she didn't have one but when she had a lump removed from her thigh she did . All the best xxx
kitesurfer are you on something because if you are it is not doing you any favours.?
You seem to come across as quite a nasty person ,and it is possible that you really aren't. I hope not.
Try a bit of understanding for people in general and those worried about their pets in particular.
Hi missrandom, she will be fine in a couple of days it's amazing how they soon pick up.Try not to worry too much.Hope your little lady is soon back to normal.g.
Hi missrandom glad Zoom is doing ok.Lottie is back to normal now (hers was Weds as you know) Amazing recovery.I have 3 flights of stairs but she seems to know she has to go easy. She hasn't even touched her wound..I was expecting to need a collar. So glad your little one is doing alright. Now the fun with 10 days on a lead.We had one check up today and another next Thursday. They used glue so no stitches to take out.Hope your dog recovers as soon as possible. Oh and ignore the childish comments.Take care.x
thanks guys.
big mamma - no she didnt have a collar (buster/elizabethan), she's seems to be leaving the wound alone. i was quite suprised as they now do the stitches internaly, so you can see a line, but no stitches to nibble! She seems more interested in the bandage on her leg.
my heart really goes out to this poor dog. not the owner though. i hate the thought of animals bieng with people that are not capable of taking care of them
hi bigmamma, she lots better today thanks, i think i'll take her for a little walk today therwise she'll be too excited if i leave it longer. she still has a rattle, but she has her check up with the nurse. It's a very neat little scar about 4 inches long. How old is your dog? Is she having done very soon?
