Our cat has been sneezing lots recently (much more than he usually does), we haven't changed any of our cleaning products so does anyone have an idea why this may be?

Feline Chlamydia is also signalled by sneezing or runny nose i believe

thanks for your answers. we will keep an eye on him but otherwise he is ok so i don't think it is too much to worry about! thanks again!
Has he had his usual vaccinations sophie?.If not, he needs to see the vet.
I'm with garner on this one. How old is he? If he's an adult, he may have developed an immunity, but if he's only a baby and hasn't been vaccinated yet, he may have contracted cat 'flu, which can be fatal. Please, if he continues to sneeze and gets runny eyes and nose, take him to the vet. Having said that, one of my old lasses sneezes quite a bit, even though she's been innoculated. She's perfectly fine otherwise (although a bit senile!) and has no other symptoms.

he's an oldie, about 14 or 15 yrs, so had all his jabs ages ago! thanks though did'nt realise cats could get flu or that it could be fatal, will keep that in mind for any future kittys we get!

*didn't

That sounds like he's already got an immunity then, sophie (that's good) - maybe he's been in contact with the cat 'flu bug, but because he's up to date with his jabs, is only showing mild snuffles. Hope he's OK - let us know, won't you? K x
