A truly awful state of affairs. Poor child, poor dog. I hope that you manage to take care of it. :(
It was kind of you to buy the dogfood. X

its probably happening in your local too mate

its just really sad all round
RSPCA - call them?

Also - animals are cute, and nice, and make great pets.

A statistically large proportion of people are scum though.
one of the many reasons i don't drink mate!
i have read this 6 times now and can't get away from this bit

tonight i've seen a woman sell her dog to another guy in the pub because she wanted money for drink. the guy she sold it to just wants a shag

he was a nice guy
his sister was about 21 she went to edinburgh uni

my mate was left
but fortunately his dad got relocated to longbridge

as i say that was a long time go
and i think things have now soiralled out of control

i fear for young kids in drink and drug dominated houses

i've got a plan for tom, i have a mate who has a couple of breeding staffs so i'll call her and see if i can get him re homed as for her and her son, not sure but i guess something will, well i don't know kids arn't my forte
mcfluff you are aiding and abetting if yot turn a blind eye.

Do something.

Make a difference to the boys life.
How old is the boy?
You have an exit strategy for the dog but not the boy?

God almighty. I despair.
In child protection courses I've attended, they say that, so many people dont do anything because they assume the next person down the line will and so on. The authorities are then never made aware and the child goes on suffering. You could call childline or the nspcc, if he's ok, then no harm done, but if you didnt call and something happened to him....
Sad thing is even if the authorities help, I doubt his life will be too much better :-(

charisma in the nicest possible way go fu*k yoursel i am not aiding and abettin, i have no control over how others choose to live their lives or treat their offspring. i'm mearly a barmaid, all i can do is what i do help when i can and stay out of things when i should.

in this instance the "authorities" are well informed and are doing whatever they do best.

if if makes you feel better i sat with him whilst he cried, made me feel great.....
Whats the name of the pub? I'll bloody well report her!!
Question Author
the boy is 11 and on the "Watch list"
