What should I name the newborn kittens?

I have three all black kittens and one tiger striped I have no clue what to name them. I would love some ideas though!

name one after the greek god zeus! and another apollo and i like the name callisto and another artemis. be a little different. it's not everyday you get to name kittens!

Name them after some of the jacksons: Jermaine, Latoyah, Janet and the odd coloured one - Michael !

Ebony and Jet and Inky would be nice names for all- black cats.

Perhaps Zebedee for the Stripey one or Garfield!

I can't stand it when black cats are named for how they look.  I have always thought cats should have a pretentious name, since they are so snooty.  I named my black cat Sebastian and my gray cat Ferdinand and heavily entertained naming one of them Ignatius.  I also considered Antigone and Casseopia for girl kitties.  I also think short names like Bert or Fred work nicely.  Oh, and Miss Kitty is a great name for a stuck-up little girl kitty.

You could name them after the cats in the Musical CATS. For female, Grizabella or Rumpletiza. Mungogerry for a male. Alternatively you could name them after prophets /kings like Ezekiel, Elijah, Samuel, Joseph, Daniel, David. For females Isabelle, Gabrielle, Martha or Tabitha. Sorry I got carried away but I like naming things!!

How about looking in the dictionary for random words that sound like good names.  A quick flip-through has yielded Sabadilla, Frazzle, Charlatan, Infrared, Persimmon, Osmic.

All depends on whether they are male/female of course, but our daughters two black cats are: Jet & Penny (after the stamp of course). Or Sooty & Lucky. For the stripey one: Tabitha/Tabetha or Timmy. If it's a ginger striped kitten: Tigger or Marmaduke?

 

Just an aside - our cat was a grey Russian Blue, so we called her Smudge.

Our cat is also called Smuj .... she has a little black 'smudge' under her chin. We called the boy cat Tom ... as he is a Tom Cat!

 My B/F's cat was called Albert ..... think that is soooo cute. & the other 1 was called spliff, as she was so layed back apparantly lol

Maybe you should see what the personalities of the cats are like, before you choose a name for them :-D

First 2 black cats I had were brithers ... named them Bill and Ted

 

Then had 2 black cats - bro and sis - named them Bobby and Whitney (brown rofl) cos Ike and Tina was too mena on the boy.  Ike was not a nice man.

 

Now have a blakc and white female cat called Missy .. she is a tart from the south hahahaha.

 

Also had cats called Fred, George, Monty (Python), Basil (had a Monty at the time ... seemd like a good idea) and the best one of all is ...

Well I have some bad news I found out I really have three girls and one boy I thought I have equal but I quess not well Still give me some girl names We named the boy Salem.
