Gold fish floating on its side?
Ma Gfish is swiming fast and upside down and then just floating for a bit......its jobbying loads!!!! is it just constipated?

i've been stroking the wee fellow all night :( trying to give him some relief! he's a v petted gf more so than my own then agin i spend more time with cyril !!!! he's a people gf!!!!

According to Stephen Fry (and the QI elves) a lot of people flush their goldfish down the loo because they're floating on their sides and assumed to be dead. (Yours seems to be well on the way to 'acting dead'). The cause of the problem is, apparently, over-feeding. The solution, as cited by Mr Fry, is simply to starve the fish for about 3 days and it should return to full health.
