Saw this bird earlier today, and not quite sure what it is, seem to think its a type of goose, but searches on trying find out what type have been fruitless!

muscovy duck??
Question Author
Brilliant! Why's it in Britain, they're native to south America and Mexico!
I know it can be a domestic duck - possibly someones escaped pet??
muscovys are quite common where we live used to have two as pets when the kids were small
Super Photos. Just like my Leo, who sadly has now gone to the big pond in the sky. This one is a Lavender Muscovy male duck. I also had one which was black and white, and 2 females. Lovely pets. There are quite a lot of these in Cheshire.
