urgent! epi-otic in cats eye

just tried cleaning poor cats ears out for 1st time and he struggled and we have got epi-otic in his eye.... what should i do

I am not a vet or a doctor but i would suggest flushing out with a salin solution

I wouldn't put salt water in a cat's eye, if it's not too late, just use luke warm plain water. If the eye becomes inflamed, then take cat to vets as urgent necessity.

thanks both, i used plain water in the end. his eye looks ok now, fully open. now i wonder how long it will be till he makes friends with me!

Shovel some grub down his neck and he'll soon be friends again - works with ours every time !
