yes all good ideas but how can i be sure ive got them all? can i put something down they will all be attracted to then know ive got them all for sure and please dont say cheese lol
I dont know if it only works for rats but you could try it on mice. get a pipe and frollick whilst playing it down to the pier where they will all fall in and drown

hope this helps
You can buy poisen from B&Q - you'll know if you get them all because the stuff will stop getting eaten and they will smell as bit (unless you find the corpses before they decay). Unfortunately though, you will keep having the problem unless you can stop them getting in.

good old fashion mouse traps or take the chair to the local tip.
get rid of the armchair?
Question Author
good idea den 53 just not sure if they are anywhere else and if i do take the chair to the tip i dont want mice falling out into my car yuck
Trouble with mousetraps is that if you have a lot of mice, it takes a while to eradicate them (unless you have a lot of traps too). I only use a mousetrap if I know there is one in the house. When I was loused out with them in an old farmhouse, I resorted to chemical warfare.

thats what im saying barmaID JUST NOT SURE IF THEY ARE ANYWHERE ELSE AND IM SCARED LOL
contain the chair in a plastic cover of some sort and tape it up then they won't escape.
Question Author
have done that thanks den but can here noises comeing from other places just dont no how many of them there are and its breeding season omg
You'll soon know. Stick a pot of the B&Q stuff down it will disappear in a matter of a couple of days. Keep topping it up until the stuff doesn't get touched anymore.

Chances are, if they are in the armchair, they are elsewhere too (ie cardboard boxes, soft furnishings, rafters). They like stuff they can chew (soft stuff), so getting rid of the armchair is a good idea because it removes a temptation. (Will the council come and collect it for a one off charge?) I know mine will.
Taping the chair up in plastic won't help - they'll chew through it.
