how would I be able to deter foxes from our garden as we have just put our pool up and they have been getting onto the cover and have torn holes into it. We have a piece of waste ground behind the garden and the foxes live there they are quite brazen as they have been known to come out during broad daylight i just wondered if they didnt like any certain smells or anything really as i would like to keep our garden stuff nice. aside from poison and a 12 gauge shotgun which everyone keeps telling me about lol some humane ways to deter them would be good thanx.

Try a product called 'get off my Garden', which you can get from Petsmart. They are small green jelly pellets that smell strange. I use it in my garden to stop all the local moggies using it as a public convenience. It's supposed to work on Dogs too.
