how to get rid of pigeons?

Got them on my roof making right noise from 5 am.
Can't get up there to fix any of those spike deterrents.
Any ideas? I know they are pests so don't be on their side, please!!

Well just because I am a veggie, I would still shoot the b***ers. They land in my garden and trample all my plants down and is it me, or are they getting bigger?
