Red creatures - help!!!!

I was having a spring clean and was moving the bedroom around, when I came across 10 or so little red worm-like creatures (ridged) about 1m long moving about. Does anybody know what they are? Now I'm finding them everywhere and to be fair, they're doing a good job of scaring the life out of me. I live in Spain if that helps.

I lived in Spain for 3 years and still work there from time to time. I don't know what creatures you have come across, but there are loads of centipedes and other type creepy crawlies in abundance over there. Most are harmless, but a small number can be quite nasty. If you've got pets, DO NOT let them get exposed.

Thanks for all your help guys. I think I may have the answer, as I found 3 or so little red spiders...maybe these could be the larvae? Yuk, I dread to think.
