May bugs come down the chimney & blind flying.....got towel over my head!

How can I stop them?

Frumpled newspaper up the chimney. Don't forget to take them out at Autumn.

Cant go outside as stag beetles fly at me - I hate beetles, and beatles!

I get them every year even though I have regular log fires. Dont do fumigation - I leave things as natural as possible.....I like the elements and share likewise.

Suck up the flying ones with a hoover. Did this a few years ago with a swarm of fying ant and it did the trick

i stuff a cushion in a carrier bag up the chimney it fits nicely and no little gaps for things to crawl through,mi put it in the carrier bag and leave the handles dangling its easy to pull down when you want to light the fire and it keeps the draught out when you havent got a fire
