It depends what sort of a mate you are looking for. Do you want to sell good pedigree puppies for showing or are you looking more for pet quality? If the former look for a really good breeder with registered stud dogs. If the latter ask around other dog owners. A friend found a very suitable mate for her border collie *** by putting a notice on a tree in the field where locals all walk their dogs. Someone responded the same day. Good luck. Puppies are hard work.
