Natural Regions

Does anyone know what the natural regions of the world are?There are supposedly more after:Arctic circle, Equitorial,Hot desert,Monsoon,Savannah,Mediterranian.Please please please, does anyone know, I sorta need this for the 16th.

Not sure what is being asked here, there are many classifications of regions. Purely geographical, defined by latitude would be: Arctic, Temperate, Tropical and Equatorial. There are then the climatic zones including monsoon, desert, alpine, sub-arctic and others. These all affect the third classification of flora and fauna e.g. tundra, rain forrest, boreal...

 

It's a long time since the first ever GCSE Geography!

A few more. but it isn't a straightforward question as Alphil says as they can be broken down into sub groups and sub sub groups!

 

Here's a few more to help you: Prairie, Taiga (coniferous forest) Steppe and Pampas.

It's all a matter of definition and classification.  There are not exactly clear dividing lines between the different types of landscape, and some could be combined into general groups, or sub-divided.  It sounds as if you are asking us to regurgitate a specific list which your teacher hasd given to you, and we can't give an accurate answer without having been in the same class.

Ok, thank you guys! yeah, it not very descriptiveqestion is it? It's part of a topic i started in class recently and that's all we were asked to find....the teacher in question is evil so i suppose that's why...lol
