do slugs explode of you put salt on them?

no they dont explode, but they jus kind of shrink and go even more slimy! euh!

No. The effect is quite dramatic but not that much:

Kinda melt but not
just shrivel up
They 'fizz' and contract. The salt interacts with their mucus coat which fizzes and produces white foam/bubbles. Their muscular body contracts and they slowly die. They must have a very delicate electrolyte levael which is easily disrupted by the salt. Used to enjoy doing snails as a boy, as they were climbing a wall.
