How can you distinguish between poisonous and non-poisonous mushrooms?

Sorry, but it takes a lot of experience in recognising mushrooms for what they are. I could say poisonous are red ones with blades underneath and white spots on top; or that you could eat anything with a spongy underside, but that is not always true, so I'd advise getting a good book and if in doubt (as my mom always is) don't eat them.

I know the difference very well & easily. Buy the safe ones from the shops; leave all other mushrooms & toadstools alone.
