Though Greyhounds (who have been clocked at around 70kph) seem the obvious answer there is an arguement in favour of the Saluki, who were bred to hunt gazelles (which have been clocked at over 80kph) but for some reason Salukis just dont seem bothered enough to chase mechanical hares so its hard to get the 2 breeds to race together to get a comparison
