Why doesn't the moon turn so we can see the other side?

It's because of the gravitational interaction of the Earth and the moon, which also has an effect on the Earth's tides. Because the two don't interact synchronously a synchronous rotation of the moon is produced, so that it's locked in phase with its orbit and the same side is always facing toward the Earth.
Because the moon is rotating at the same rate as it goes around the earth therefore u see the same part of the moon all the time
