Sorry it's not much to go on but that's all I've been told? Can anyone hazard a guess as to what this might be... sounds like Posh spice to me!
Apparently it's about the size of a tit?

Ooops, forgot one...

Thanks Barry & jno, it doesnt come across on those pics but the colours are incredibly vibrant, and the whole head seems to be black which doesnt seem to match those other photos? Probably just someones canary thats escaped... although there are two of them!
If there's a pair of them jon, then that's the Blac-headed Bunting out as one blown off course is a rarity, but a pair....no chance.

It doesn't have the thin canary bill though.......the mystery deepens. They're not plastic are they - and you are having a laugh ;-)

If I thought I could get a laugh as easily as that then I wouldve done Cetti! ;-) What I know about the feathered variety of birds you can write in very large letters on the back of a stamp!
I can assure you its real, Mum spotted one this morning and asked me to look it up on the computer cause she couldnt find it in her bird spotting book. (Those pics are taken from their kitchen window).
Ive been reporting back since I got home and she said there were two of them on the table this afternoon?
Google Orange weaver.

The black under the chin makes it unlikely to be an B.H.bunting.
The Orange Weaver could easily be an escaped aviary bird.
