Spayed bitch attracting male dogs

My bitch was spayed 2 years ago but in the last week 2 dogs have done their very best to frantically lick at her bum. This is beyond the normal 'who are you' sniff.
One of the dogs is ours, a 7 month old pup. The other is a colleagues
My question is could she have come into 'some sort of season' i.e. releasing pheromones similar to a bitch on heat?.

does she show any interest in her bum or bits? is there any kind of discharge? Could she be producing attractive meaty farts? How is she in herself? Me I am a worrier and would probably give the vet a call as sometimes in unspayed bitches this can be a sign of a tumour. This isn't said to worry you but I am sure you'd hate to miss it.

Could be her anal glands need emtying, they give off a rather pungent odour. The vet will check and do it for you.
Warning - stand well clear, as it tends to have a large impact area!
