my 8yr old bedlington terrier cross whippet has almost stopped eating, she seems fine in herself but has'nt had a full meal for a week, a friend has suggested that it could be post season blues, does this happen? there has also been some shooting around about and she hates loud bangs, but this is not all the time and she won't even eat on a quiet day, advice please.

If she has recently been in season, she could have a pyometra, and you should take her to the vets asap. Dont want to worry you, but if it is a pyometra, it is potentially life threatening if you dont seek medical advice.
