Good morning everyone - I do hope you've all had a pleasant weekend and facing the new week relaxed and well-rested after the hijinks of Saturday morning, when she-who-shall-remain-nameless tried to put the cat amongst the fluffy four-legged things [ accidentally, of course ] - luckily the majority of entrants were at least one jump ahead of her or managed to correct their entries [ thank goodness ]

Just briefly, lovely to welcome keyboardix back to the fold, also HandbagLady who has had 'troubles' since Ab changed, and last week saw the return of deecee131, who has had similar problems, and while still on the social scene - can anyone update us as to Pauline's progress ?? and pass on our good wishes to her.

Well after all the drama came yet another deluge of points as the matches turned out to be -

All I will say at this point is a hearty Congratulations to all the points scorers, as I go to the Leader Board, with just the usual reminder that we'll reconvene here, same time, same place, next Saturday morning and I will endeavour to have the correct words ......S

I've taken the liberty of going straight to the Leader Board because, when you see the state of it, I think you'll all understand why -after some 16 entries all collected 6 points each for 3 correct matches, I wasn't disappointed to finally find one who managed to scoop the pool and predict all four correct, so now to the BOARD -

Is it possible to have a general update about Pauline? I quite understand that she (and her friends) may not want details of whatever it is published on the Web, but she was very welcoming to me when I started MM linking and I'd appreciate knowing if she's OK.

Good morning all .. (although it's not exactly "good" as it's tipping with rain here in Wiiltshire).
To answer the concerns expressed about Pauline, she is currently hospitalised following a major operation last Thursday. She will probably remain in hospital for at least another two weeks, but will hopefully be home in time for Christmas.
I will pass on your concerns and good wishes, when I speak to Reg (her husband) this evening. (S)

First ~ thank you sarumite and would you please pass on my best wishes too. One of the few things my convernt education taught me was how to pray so I too shall be having a word with The Boss.

What a weekend you've had Steff! Thank you for all your work, and for my one point (I'm one of the Further Thirteen Brigade!). Just a small query: here in the Old Country we put the cat amongst the pigeons (i.e. feathered two-legged things). How do you get rid of your moggies in Oz? Without any reference to Eric Bogle please!
