We took him back on saturday for a checkup so i thought, He saw doing so well once we got over the first dose of chemo, and the vet said as he was so bright he needed his second dose of chemo to see how he rsponds if there was no improvement it would be his last and then pallett care for the wee man, The second dose has really knocked the stuffing out of him he is so sleepy and not very active at all, He can now eat really well as the chemo has shrunk the lymph nodes in his throat but to be honist he just wants to be left alone, so I have to ring the vets tomorrow to give her an update and we would rather have a happy ferret for as long as we can than an unhappy little chappy so we will stop it dependding on what she says.:(
That was yesterday that i posted that he is much brighter today had a mooch about the house he is more active today BUT kate and i have decided it is not fair on him or us to give him anymore chemo, we needed to try it to see if it made any difference in him and yes his lymph nodes have gone down but every 7 days of chemo with around 4 days of feeling total crap for him is unfair so we are just going to enjoy him for as long as we possibly can. once he gets this lot of chemo out of his system i am hoping that he will go back to beeing happy for a while which is what we all want, but the 4 hourly night feeds are tiring but we will see how it goes for a while..... Thats all i can say really today and he is in no pain
Thanks for asking
