We have been given a tin of cod's roe for Christmas. However, none of are likely to eat it and I was wondering if it was ok to feed it to our cats instead of just chucking it away?

Shouldn't do them any harm, they will leave it if they don't like it.

fair enough
Is it hard roe or soft?
Only asking because I wondered why you won't eat it. Hard roe is wonderful fried and spread on buttered toast.

I might try a bit before giving it to the cats
Go on; be daring!
Its very good for you and low calorie too. Most chippies do it in batter but I like it just fried.
nice on toast with a small splash of vinegar, salt n white pepper
My cat eats peas and onions...
And is called Brian... enough said.

It's a good name actually... I know someone who has a dog named Dave...
