Cat pawing window
5 Answers
One of our cats has a habit of pawing the floor to ceiling window in our conservatory when he is served his food - his bowl is next to the window. We noticed this in the evenings and thought initially he was reacting to his reflection. However, he has occassionally done it during the day. What behaviuor is this displaying? He also paws the floor in the near vicinity of his bowl.

He might not like feeding near the window, they like to feel secure when eating. One of my cats will look at his food then check out of the cat flap before he starts eating, just to make sure nobody's likely to come in and disturb here.
