hi i'm just after some of your opinions as i'm at my witts end! i have a peugeot 206 and it decided one day did not want to start. it wasn't the battery (which is all i know how to fix) so i had it towed away as i thought it would be something simple due to the freezing weather we'd been having. it turns out it's the ecu and i need a new one. rather expensive, but ok it's got to be done. this was 4 weeks ago and it still hasn't been done! i was told i would be waiting 2 weeks as the part is on backorder. the new ecu arrives 2 weeks and 2 days later but it is faulty. peugeot wanted to test it themswelves and came to the same conclusion so have agreed to replace it. this part still hasn't arrived and i can't understand what is taking so long. i understand the first one took a while because it ws over xmas and new year, but this one seems to be taking even longer. is it normal for to wait a month for car parts to arrive? anyone else had problems like this? i don't even care about the cost now i just want my car back.

Would the company be called Perrys Kim? If you look on the Web you can half the cost of a replacement ECU, & installed without any problems.
