Is the cat just trying to get the dog out of the way for the dog's own protection, do you think? They seem friendly enough otherwise - the dog doesn't seem to mind, and the cat doesn't seem aggressive once it gets off the Roomba.

Still tottering on :o)...Yes jno, very unpleasant & frightening, I've had dizzy spells before but not as severe as that. It wasn't a panic attack to start with, I know how that feels, but panic might have played a part as it progressed & made it worse. I'm not liking this heavy feeling in my chest, it's not something I'm familiar with, haha. Hey ho if it's not one thing...
btw I watched Housewife 49 again yesterday afternoon, I found it by accident looking for something to take my mind off how I felt. It was that or some hideous nylon fashion on QVC :o)

neti last night's Lewis was Falling Darkness
Hi Robi I'm so sorry to hear of your ill feelings. I hope you get better soon. If it was me I would have been to the Docs straight away but then I'm a 'whittler'. Take it easy.

That Vinmag. site looks really good Vin. Going to study it more deeply later. Going to look at the Rock and Roll theme. And the relax Vid is great too.
Got into town before the shops were properly open but went into Primark and bought some cool night wear. I mean cool as in 'the air' not cool as in 'great' but they are even so.Then I went to Vision Express and got me specs tightened up, a lot better now. Not slipping down me big shonker.

Don't know what the Lewis episode was called but it was about a body found on Halloween night then a few more murders follow, It was really good but the last of 4 episodes.

Off for a cuppa now....
Sorry Robi forgot to mention your Blackbird. Looking good and right at you. I get the sparrows as well trying to get a look in but the blackbirds aren't too friendly towards them
Hi again Robbi. I won't say the reason, but I had a slight panic attack yesterday because of something I find out and had that 'heavy' feeling for the rest of the day. I have had it on many occasions. Not a pain as such, but as if something was sitting on my chest. Try not to worry about it.
I know I won't catch a photo of the goldfinches if I go anywhere near them, so took this through my 'study' (ha, ha junk room) window. Hence the awful quality as it was taken through glass.

Afternoon all, I'm in yur gardens (<lolcat speak) smelling the grass and befriending your kittehs and blackbirds and sparrows and goldfinches - just lovely. Robi considering how clean your windows are I'm inclined to say it was a post-cleaning attack... but do see a doctor if for no other reason than to feel reassured wontcha...? And then when they tell you you're just an old nut and there's nothing they can do about that, you can watch Vinny's clip and read this book, my absolute favourite in the guided imagery line http://www.lesliedave...book-audios-articles/

That was one good relaxation vid Vinny, I searched for similar ones a while back but mostly came up with clips that just made me more nervous ha ha but I liked that one. Bet you bought this poster, it's totally you http://www.vinmag.com...r-paignton-devon.html

Woofy and Neti would you consider adding your pork and garlic info to this thread please? The more info gathered in one place the better. Oh and read Wolf's guide dog story, it had me screaming with laughter http://www.theanswerb...s/Question900913.html

I should say the book is Healing and Transformation through Self Guided Imagery, by Leslie Davenport. (If somebody refers back to this thread at a later point and that page has been revised.)
Hi all
What a lousy weekend it's been here weatherwise .At least it's not raining today but it's dull, over cast and still blowing a gale .We did have some sunshine after all yesterday ,pity it was pelting with rain at the same time :)

Sorry to hear you feel unwell Robinia.
Overactive thyroid has the opposite symptoms to Hashimotos ( underactive) .If you have bulging eyes are hyperactive and losing weight rapidly for no reason ..then it's time to have a blood test .
It could be the weather to be honest ,I felt like sh!te all day yesterday :) Go and see the doctor and hope you feel better now :))

Your son is very talented Jude .
Lewis was good but I got a bit lost as to why the student was murdered and who attacked Lauras friend on the towpath ?.
Pictures of my late lamented mice and birds all of whom have been annihilated by that killing machine from next door .If it digs, poops and sprays in my pots of geraniums once more .........my name will be in the papers ...

Question Author
Yes I know Shaney, I just came on to ask you if you had seen my link on the previous thread and to tell you the news! There's no word on Mankell so far... /So sorry about your garden friends:'((
Question Author
Y'all know I don't value one person's life over another's but just as a point of interest, there's a bunch of celebrities on board those Gaza boats. Or were... BTW Mankell is married to film director Ingmar Bergman's daughter, she's in the news today, very worried. Here's a link for those of you who haven't heard

http://www.swedishwir...ard-the-gaza-aid-boat
Yes ..I remember now . I was reading it on the news and it mentioned him . Then I remembered you posting a link ( which I did read) but now I can't find it :)
Must pay more attention ....
Those photos are gorgeous shaney, I just love the mice one, so have saved it!

Neeetiiii, I think Vinny is eloping with your George! And with your George too, Robi! Vinny I hadn't been to your site for a couple of days, didn't realise you had already drawn that chair, but been there now, it's mighty purdy:) ...and the other one too=:0 These guys would like to come along, they've already started practising http://i45.tinypic.com/2uiy8fq.jpg he he whoooosh >>>>>>>>>

And Neti I hadn't been to YouTube either (for several days), when I wrote what I wrote yesterday about "I'm a friend of your mum's" comments so cross my heart and hope to die I wasn't referring to you - and I was very relieved just now to see that you didn't write that anyway:)
No way would I write anything like that on a public board swedie, being a mother one learns these things!!
What lovely photos Shaney. Your avatar's a great one.
mmm I think the Israelis may have made a boo boo this time
Question Author
They have indeed Woofy. Shaney latest word is that Henning Mankell is among the survivors. Neti I meant I was relieved to see you hadn't written that cos if you had written that you would have thought I was referring to you when in fact I wasn't=:o (phrased myself badly again). Woofy thanks for adding to the info on that don't poison your pets thread - very funny story about your "police dog"...!
Morning all, have been up ages as Mr N had to work early, so i've been singing along with Steadmeister, its a good way to wake up!

Robi, I do hope you are feeling better today.

and woofy, also hope DH is improving!
Morning Neti I've been up ages too. Done my washing on economy 7 and put it out, Have to take my nightware back to Primark as it doesn't fit boo hoo!
No tai chi today but going out with one of my friends for lunch.
Pleased you like Steadmeister's songs. I've asked him to do some more so that I can do a CD.
Thinking about you Robi. Hope you are feeling a lot better. And anyone else with aches and pains. I woke up with chronic cramp in the night and my leg's still aching but I think that was digging yesterday.
See yer later 'gater(s)
the overnight light rain didn't happen but I'm supposed to have heavy rain for the next few hours <licks lips in anticipation>

Should I do a head count to make sure all biddies made it through the night?
