My Ashke is reserved :-)
8 Answers
Although he is no longer my Ashke, he has today shown up on the Wood Green website under dog rehoming (they have spelt his name wrong though!) and he has a reserved thing next to his name. He has only been in there since Friday 2nd April, so hopefully he will be out and in a loving new home soon :)
As for Cleo, they said she would go straight away, and I havent seen her on there yet so maybe she went really quick!

Here's wishing him a loving home, he was obviously loved by you, and it shows, he's a good looking chap :-)

Oh, and to add, I also got to keep another of my cats!
When my ex was meant to take the 5 cats to the centre, Smokie Joe had done a vanishing act. My ex said he was just going to take him to the vets and say he found him, which I was very much against, so my now partner has taken him in aswell as my kitten Cefa!
I picked up Smokie on Saturday, and although he was terrified all day and hid behind the sofa as the kids where there, as soon as they had left and it was just me, he came straight out and wandered around. He is still very jumpy, but then he always was anyway, but he seems to be settling a bit more now.

Hi wiggal - I haven't posted on your threads as it just breaks my heart but you are being so brave. You little dog is absolutely gorgeous and will get a loving home - there are so many of us animal lovers here. Take cate and good luck in your new life . Maybe you'll win the lotto and you'll open an animal sanctuary some day - :-)
Hi all,
Thank you for your replies!
garner, Yes, my ex and I did split, I couldnt take many animals, (apart from Cefa & now Smokie Joe) and he didnt want to keep any of them apart from one of the cats Sammy Lee :-(
Divegirl, it didt work out with the plans for rehoming Cleo, so she also went to Wood Green with Ashke, but she is not yet on the rehoming page, but they had said with her being such a young & gorgeous dog that she would be rehomed very quickly so maybe she has gone already.
Peri, I did think it was going to really upset me seeing them on Wood Green, especially as I chose not to go with them to the centre as it would be so hard, but I was actually Ok about it. I think it is because I know it was the only option and is by far the best for them, and some one else will now get the chance to give them a loving home. :-)
