People suck!
Probably cause the cat was 2 floors up. Hard to help with no ladder.
But someone did help.
Didn't look hard for the lovely guy who did do it though did it?

I had a big smile on my face watching him go up to help.
Yes someone helped it, so what's the problem?
I'm going to be lynched for this.... but I thought it looked hysterical. How the hell did it manage to get stuck there?!!!!

Sorry, but I thought it was a really funny picture. :-(
Someone EVENTUALLY helped it, that is the problem here! Most of the onlookers just gawped, took photos or filmed it. I bet if it had been a dog someone would have been straight up there to help.
I think JB is making the point that apart from one guy, the majority of people who content to just gawp and even record it on their mobiles. And I personally asked myself would they be so indifferent if it was a child?
Totally different if it was a child.
How would you go about rescuing a cat stuck two floors up with no ladder? Straight up to help?! Who are you, banned heroe?
Salla, it looks to me like the cat was trying to get IN the window from the ledge. Even as a cat lover I am under no illusions about the intelligence (or lack of) of cats :)
you're entitled to think that way Salla. I however didn't find it funny, and couldn't find any animal in distress (or stuck as in this case) amusing.

(grab the pitchforks folks- meet you at Salla's)
banned heroe should say sp1derman. Nice one AB filter!
Hang on a second- why is it totally different if it was a child?

And errr who?
The video only lasted 59seconds.....How quickly are people expected to take action? TBH I would have watched for a bit....just because cats are great for getting out of sticky situations.
Because if it was a child, people would have phoned for help doh!
Aah - but I'd feel totally different, obviously, if it were a child.
I do have a heart... x
Quite how anyone can compare a cat scrambling about and a child being stuck baffles me.
Sorry Boo - I think I'm a notorious non-cat-lover. But I do like children very much, especially my own. (Though I've never been able to eat a while one.....)
well i personally couldn't have clamboured up there, im way too small and tubby! I'd have made Mr Boo do it, rofl. And it did look relatively easy for the guy who did eventually do it to errr..do it.

So if I get this right- if it had been a child another view- rather than attempt, or get someone else to attempt it, you'd have been happy to call the fire brigade (or whoever) to rescue them- wasting precious minutes?
But it wasn't a child.....
