I have recently adopted a desert king snake and have been doing some research on the internet. Most sites suggest that the snake is highly active, but this one never ever seems to do anything!! Its alive, before anyone asks that question, but always seems to be motionless at the back of the vivarium. Any suggestions please??

Few questions!
How big is the tank?
What's in it? [substrate, hides, water bowl etc]
How is it heated and what is the temp?
Has it fed, if not, when was the last time?

Oh forgot, when was the last time it shed and how long have you had it?

The viv is 4ft by 2ft, with aspen shavings, 2 hides and water bowl. It is heated with a heat mat and the temp is approx 27 deg. Last fed on Sunday, which is when we got it and unsure about the last shed.
Thanx.
Hi, well everything sounds ok so i can only think that maybe he's about to shed. How are his eyes looking? You could try spraying him with tepid water if they're looking cloudy.
