I've killed 3 today....
Seen a few when i'm in Reading but not so many in London. Personally I hope they all die out, can't stand the ruddy things.... But I'm aware my wasp phobia is probably not a good enough reason to start messing around with ecosystems. :c)
I kill them 'cos the dog chases them and I'm worried he'd get stung.
You murderer Craft. May you be forgiven. Poor wasps!! They do a good job and have their place in life ;o).

China, seriously they play a part in the greater scheme of things - I did used to know what it was but have forgotten. There is something that they eat that is very beneficial to our horticulture/agriculture.

We have had a few, but not that many.

Loads of bees though which really pleases me!
Man hostages mum's dog is one of those arndale thingys, all big and shaggy, he catches the wasps in the air as they go past... Silly thing... Almost makes having his wooly mamoth fur next to me on a hot day.

One of my mums jack russells actually stalks and hunts them.... Strange animal.
I have never been stung yet by the way, but I must admit to hating them around whilst I eat!
I've seen loads of bees this year......and no I don't kill them as they let you guide them out of the house.....
I know, I know Lofty, much as I think the entire wasp population should be wiped out, I'm aware it's probably a minor overreaction :c)

I think they eat greenfly actually... I know there's a tree in a rain forest who's entire ecosytem is based on a wasp about 5mm or something, really teeny. Saw it on a nature doccy once.
Arndale, Isn't that a Shopping Centre? Do you mean an Airdale, China.?
Yes she does...
Nice little things bees, all fluffy and pretty. Wasps look pretty evil, I will admit.
Elder Mini boo stmped on a wasps nest when she was about 7, was not a pretty sight!
He he 'Elder' Mini BOO.

Is that Auntie Mini BOO? When are you off to see Lucas then BOO?
Just realised that elder mini BOO must be the new Mum as younger mini BOO isn't 7 yet.

All these little BOO's!!!!!
Yeah sorry, elder Mini Boo is the new mum :-)

I'm going tomorrow dinner to see him Lottie, will take more piccies!
I had one huge wasp in the kitchen earlier this year and I've not seen any since then.

I've only had one wasp sting (many yrs ago) at the top of my arm while I was getting the dinner ready. It was the one & only time ever that my (ex) husband said 'sit down, I'll do it'. Almost worth getting stung for! ;o)
Robi, you will be pleased to know not a drop of alcohol has passed my lips today................. yet ;o)
Are you taking it intavenously(sp?) instead? :o)
*intravenously
You forgot your 'r'!!

I might just succumbe later!!
